As a mom and a coach, I get it—this parenting thing is a wild ride! My husband and I try our best to prioritize our kids and each other, and we’ve found that strong connections really make all the difference. We team up, set goals, and do our best to stay in sync as we go.

But let’s be honest—we’re not nailing it every single time! Far from it. We’re learning as we go, just like everyone else. When we became parents in 2013, everything was new to us. Those early days with our baby were exhausting and fantastic all at once. Every day was a learning experience. 

By the time we welcomed our second baby in 2018, we had some tools and we still had so much to learn. Our kids have taught us so much—patience, how to roll with the punches, and the value of staying connected through it all. Some of the lessons have been tough, some downright gut-wrenching, and they’ve made us better people.

We focus on keeping our family close and we shift gears when things don’t go as planned. And we’re always willing to have the hard conversations that help us grow. We’re far from perfect, but we’re doing our best to figure out what works for us and build a strong, connected family.
